Hours of Operation

The central office is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, M-F; closed during major holidays.

*Double session/part day classes, meet for 3 1/2 hours per day, four or five days per week.

*Full day and blended classes follow the center's hours.

*Hours of operation and transportation will be discussed at the initial home visit and orientation.

Weather Related Emergencies and School Closings

McLean County:  Please listen to radio stations WJBC or WBNQ or check out their website (www.wjbc.com) for Head Start information.

*If #87 closes before school is open for the day, Bloomington/Normal Head Start will close.

*If #87 closes early and the children are already in the classrooms, Bloomington/Normal Head Start classes will not be dismissed early.

*If #87 closes before the p.m. session begins, Bloomington/Normal Head Start will not have afternoon session.s

Livingston County: Please listen to the local Pontiac AM station, WJEZ, for information.

*When the Pontiac Public School District #429 closes for weather reasons, before school is open for the day, Pontiac Head Start will also close.

*If Pontiac District #429 closes early for weather reasons, and the children are already in the classrooms, they will not be dismissed early.

*If Pontiac District #429 closes for weather reasons, before the p.m. session begins, Pontiac Head Start will not have an afternoon session.

If parents wish to pick up their children early they may do so; that is their choice.
